The reason I ever bought a DSLR camera was to document my three little children. Like many moms, I wanted good photos of my children. Well, I fell in love, fast, with that camera. Some things are just meant to be, and I soon realized that the guest house on our farm, that we were planning on burning down, could work as a studio. After a large remodeling project, the 1900s guest house, that is just steps out our front door, has turned into my perfect little studio. One of my favorite things about this job is building relationships with clients. I also enjoy the opportunity to challenge my creativity constantly learn. Because of my clients that are investing in my work, I continue to invest in myself. As long as I am behind the camera I will continue growing with classes, mentorships, and workshops. My background is graphic design and advertising, and I love being able to create artwork for clients from the photographs to the announcement cards and custom artwork for their walls.
